Love is a game. More specifically: Chess. The girl has to lose, because she can only move forward two spaces on her first move; one space for all other moves; and only diagonal while attacking. Men get to be knights.
Remember that uncomfortable conversation you had with your parents when you started to go through puberty? Me neither. Fortunately, Stefano Casali and artist Bill Asprey are working hard, detailing daily illustrations of two naked, romantically inclined toddlers and piecing them together with captions to explain the pure, yet ever elusive concept of love.
They call it Love Is. Unfortunately the comic Love Is, is painfully difficult to understand in of itself. In fact it's really just an all together terrible comic. To avoid a brain aneurysm, I've taken it upon myself to "explain" Love Is, so that I can protect others from encountering the same confusion and pain.
Basically, it's a terrible comic and I'm going to make fun of it each time they make a new one.
